Great Falls, MT (September 21, 2007) This was the last show in Montana for us this year.  It was cool and the track was wet but not muddy at all.  Adam drew a 5th place start in the third heat and moved into third by the finish.  In the feature he started 9th and took off right away and we knew that he had nailed the setup.  By the 9th lap he had move in to 3rd place behind the 67 car and the 21 car.  Those three battled it out for the remainder of the race which was cut short at 13 laps because of time limitations as the result of numerous cautions.  Adam finished a strong 3rd.

Aberdeen, SD (September 15, 2007) We started 3rd in the B main and raced fast and well but couldn't break through to 2nd in order to make the transfer and ended where we started.

Aberdeen, SD (September 14, 2007) Adam drew a pretty good number and started 3rd in the 5th heat.  This was not the best position to have when being scored on passing points.  We suffered from some handling problems and ended in 5th place, not making the transfer.

Belgrade, MT (September 8, 2007) Adam started on the pole in the B main and was looking forward to the win.  In the first turn he was rammed down into a tire on the infield and ended the race 4th, missing the transfer.

Belgrade, MT (September 7, 2007) Heat races here started Adam in 7th place.  He battled up to 3rd but couldn't get any further and ended there, missing the transfer to the A feature and heading for the B main.

Jamestown, ND (September 2, 2007) We traveled 500 miles to Jamestown to catch the second half of a street stock special event. Adam started 3rd in his heat where the cars were being scored on passing points. In the first lap he was hit from behind in corner 3 and spun out. Because of a bad call he has sent to the back. He finished 5th but that wasn’t good enough to make the transfer to the A main. In the B main he started 3rd again and this time he nailed the setup. He had to make 2nd place to move to the A main, and for the last six laps he and the 5 car battled it out with the 5 car finishing 2nd by a nose. That put Adam 3rd and the night was over.

Billings, MT (September 1, 2007) The track was very muddy again and Adam started his heat in 6th position. Without being able to do much in the mud he finished 4th.

In the feature we started 6th and had to race hard after a crowded start in order to finish 4th.

Belgrade, MT (August 31, 2007) After drawing a good number Adam started in the 2nd position, outside pole in the third heat race. He got a great start and moved to the lead in the first turn and stayed there finishing first.

In the feature we started in 6th place and started moving up through traffic. During the 6th lap the 72 car from Great Falls slid high under Adam and hit him hard in the left rear tire. Both cars suffered a flat tire but since there were no cautions Adam had to take a DNF.

Great Falls, MT (August 25, 2007)  The track was about the muddiest we’ve seen this year and there wasn’t much you could do in the heat race.  Adam started in 5th place and ended up in 4th.

In the feature Adam started in 7th place on a track that was fast becoming dry.  Since this was the track championship race, the cars were placed in order of their ranking at that track.  Adam was ranked 7th.  That meant the track leaders were all in front of him.  He started strong but with all the poor drivers up there he got banged and beat up pretty bad in the first few laps, falling all the way back to 12th at one point.  But as the race went on and the track improved he found his groove and started moving through the field.  He ended in 4th place.

Belgrade, MT (August 24, 2007) Adam started in fifth place in the 1st heat. The track was tacky and he moved to 3rd place right away then stayed there. The 9 car was slow but Adam couldn’t get around him to catch the leader.

In the feature we started 9th (fifth row inside) and by the third lap had moved up in the crowd to about 5th place on a track that was very fast and dry slick. At that point he was hit and spun out. He had to go to the pit for quick repairs but got back on the track at the end of the pack in 19th place. He hit the wood from the first flag and took off passing cars mainly around the top, dropping down when he had to. When it was all over he was catching the 67 car in 2nd place and was just starting to pass him low when they crossed the line finally taking 3rd.

Billings, MT (August 18, 2007) Cool weather made for a wet track.  Adam drew a good number and started on the outside pole in the first heat.  Since the street stock class didn’t have to pack the track they had to run first, and Adam took off at the cone and moved in to first at the first turn.  After that there was no looking back.  He was leading by a turn at lap 5 when the yellow came out.

On the restart he picked up where he left off and finished first by 4 lengths.

In the feature race Adam started in 5th place.  We were set up for tacky track but it was dry after the first lap which meant we completely missed the setup.  He moved to the center and stayed there until he was hit in turn 2 while passing between two cars.  At that point he dropped to 8th and couldn’t get control of the car at all.  He stayed there for several laps until finally working high and lo to get to 5th when the caution came out with 3 laps to go.  But by then he had finally found a groove and took off fast at the green flag, turning his fastest lap of the race and passing two cars to get to the finish in 3rd place.

Begrade, MT (August 17, 2007) Adam drew another poor number and started 6th in the last heat.  The track was tacky and he had a hard time moving through traffic and ended up in third place.

In the feature Adam started 9th on a tacky track that was drying out.  He stayed low and worked his way up getting stuck in third place behind Mike Anderson in the 2 car.  After several laps he finally got around the 2 car on the bottom, then moved up on the track and began to run down the leader, Jeff Meirhofer.  The race ended with Adam taking 2nd place.

Billings, MT (August 11, 2007) Adam started on the pole in the first heat on a tacky track. We were set up for it and he took off at the start and didn't look back, finishing first.

In the feature the track was dry and turning slick. Adam started in 6th place (third row outside) and at the flag stayed in traffic and pushed forward. After losing a little ground he went high and picked off a couple of cars, then dropped low passing the 21 car. He was now in third place. The 15 car of Dennis Kenniston was taking the high line and Adam was able to move under him and on the next lap, got a nose under the 13x car and challenged for 1st place. He couldn’t hold it though and fell back to second and was challenged by the 15 car. Adam moved up to gain position on the 15 and as soon as he did, the 21 car went under him and passed. It was a run for the flag in the final lap and Adam ended up 4th in a very close finish.

Belgrade, MT (August 10, 2007) This was a big night with Late Models running, plus the features from last week's rainout were all going to be run as well. Add to that lineup the fact that Dave Rohweder was in from North Dakota to race in Montana. He is last year's national champion and is second nationally so far this year. The track had been prepacked and it looked better than it had all year.

Our first race was Heat 2 in this week's street stock event. Adam drew a high number and started 6th. The track was tacky but smooth and from the first turn you could tell Adam was running well. He worked his way up to 3rd place before running out of laps.

Our next race was the feature from last week's rainout. Adam was in the fourth row outside to start and went to work from the first turn. The track was starting to get fast down low so by the end of the second caution in lap number 8 he passed the 38 car to take the lead. He ran real well and drove like a pro. When racing with this high level of competition though, you are not alone out front for very long. The 21 car caught up to him after the caution in the 15th lap and the race was on. In the end Adam was able to outdrive Kasey to take the win.

The last race of the night was this week's feature. Adam started on the outside of row one with the 21 car in the pole position. Everyone was waiting for a repeat of the last race and they weren't disappointed. In the very first turn on the fastest track Belgrade had seen in a long time, Kasey went high on the cushion and Adam went low to pass but found out that it was just too slow down there and fell behind by 3 lengths. But by going back up high he found his groove and quickly made up the distance. These two guys were one and two for the whole race and put on a great show. Through lap traffic, going low then going high, Kasey couldn't shake Adam. Adam had two chances to get past Kasey but couldn't capitalize either time. In the end he finished second glued to Kasey's tail.

Belgrade, MT (August 3, 2007)  Adam finally drew a good number and started on the outside pole in heat one.  The track was very tacky and the car was set up for it.  At the start he charged up the outside and pressured for one lap before taking the lead.  Out in front now he was able to take off and get in to a rythm.  At about lap 4 the 67 car and the 00 of Beau Brown caught up with Adam who was running at less than full throttle.  The 67 moved under him as the 00 tried going around the outside and all of a sudden Adam was looking at bumpers on each side.  At this point he hit the gas and pulled away down the front stretch and ended winning by about 3 lenghts.

The feature race was rained out and will be made up this weekend.

Billings, MT (August 4, 2007)  Adam drew the outside pole position in heat 1 on a soft wet track and at the flag took off to take the lead.  He stayed there the entire race and didn't let up, finishing first by nearly a half lap.

In the feature Adam started in 6th place and took off at the green flag but got caught in lap traffic and fell to 7th in the 1st lap.  He stayed there for 3 laps, then fell to 8th still caught in traffic.  At the caution restart he hit it hard and moved back in to 6th on the 5th lap and started battling with the 7 car, finally moving in to 3rd place on lap 9.  As he was pressuring the 11 car it spun out in front of him and he was able to move in to 2nd for the restart.  Now it was a race between Adam and the 21 car of Kasey Brown.    The 21 was set up perfectly and ran the track at close to record times and Adam just couldn't catch him, losing time through the corners, and ended finishing in 2nd place.

Mandan, ND (July 29, 2007) This time Adam drew a pretty good number and started in the second row, inside in the 3rd heat race. The track was hard and fast and he took off at the start a little behind the leader and spent the rest of the race driving the car as hard as he could, fighting a loose setup on exiting the turns. At the end he was in 3rd place and made the redraw for the feature.

In the main event Adam drew last place so started in the 5th row, inside. There was a field of 21 cars and none of them were slow. At the flag Adam was caught a little late and by the third lap had fallen to 12th. But the car was set up well and we had fixed the exit problem and he started to hook up well. He raced hard with the lead pack and at one point had moved in to 8th place, but ended the race in 9th. This was a great run.

Mandan, ND (July 28, 2007)  We arrived at Dacotah Speedway and found a spot in the infield in which to work on the car and use as a pit area.  The track was very dry and slick.  Adam drew a middle number and started 6th in the 2nd heat.  From the first flag we could tell the car was loose but that the motor was running fine.  In lap six he spun out in turn 2 with no damage and got back in the race, but by that time he ran out of laps and finished last in 7th place.

In the feature Adam started at the back of the pack, 19th out of 21 cars.  During the time between races the crew worked hard to make some radical changes to the setup in order to accommodate the super dry, hard track.  At the flag Adam took off and we knew right away that he had nailed the setup.  He went to work passing cars but got stuck behind the 21 car for five laps before finally taking him on the high side.  He started turning some fast laps and caught the middle pack, passing them, then caught the end of the lead pack before running out of laps.  He ended 12th but the car ran great and it's set up for tomorrows competition.

Aberdeen, SD (July 27, 2007) Adam started this series by drawing a pretty good number and entered the second heat on the outside pole. The track was a little muddy but not anything that would keep the race from being good. He took off and made it through the first lap in second place but bobbled on turn 2 in the second and dropped to fourth. He continued to keep up with the leaders but you could tell he didn't have the power he should. On lap 8 (10 lap heat) his gears blew up and he coasted to a stop in front of the grandstand and was towed off.

We changed the gears and put him back on the track for the feature. He started dead last in 19th place and took off fast picking his way around cars. The car ran great and was very strong in a field of fast cars, including the national leaders and track leader. At the end he was in 10th place and the car was in good shape.

Belgrade, MT (July 20, 2007) Adam drew his worst number of the season and started second to last, in slot 7 in heat three. The track was in fairly good shape and he ran well eventually getting to 3rd place where he qualified for the transfer in the feature race.

In the feature, Adam started 7th again and began real well, moving up and in about the 5th lap was challenging for 3rd when he lost traction and spun out on turn 3. He was hit hard by the 65 car but was able to get back on the track. The car was extremely loose and on the 11th lap he lost traction again and hit an infield tire. He was able to get started again but 3 laps later his hood came loose in the front and blocked his vision. He came off the track finishing 14th.

Billings, MT (July 21, 2007) The temperature was in the 100's and even with lots of water at the track, it began drying out pretty fast. In the first heat, Adam started in position 4 and drove well enough to get up to 3rd before running out of laps. The car ran well and he drove well, but couldn't hook up well enough to get around traffic.

In the feature race Adam started in the 7th slot on a watered track that was quickly drying out. It was a fast start and he hung with the pack until openings began to appear. He had a little trouble getting moving in the beginning, and found that the track had some very slick spots.

But by lap 8 he had moved in to 4th and was trading 4th and 5th places with the 21 car of Kasey Brown. At that point the 65 car got loose and went high, and Adam and Kasey went by him with Kasey moving in to 3rd and Adam in to 4th. At the start of lap 15 Adam was moving through turn
1 and 2 when something broke and he spun out. Facing the oncoming traffic backwards he was hit by another car and broke his radiator, putting him out of the race. He officially finished 11th.

Billings, MT (July 14, 2007) After a successful run in Belgrade the night before we traveled to Billings to further break in the engine and get back on track.  In the second heat, Adam started in the 4th spot and took off at the flag.  The track was slippery as he picked his way toward the front.  He was hung up in traffic for a short time but soon moved in to second place and was running down Justin Rieker when he ran out of laps.

In the feature race Adam started in the fourth spot again.  The track was a little slippery from just being watered, so at the flag he gambled and moved up top where the traction was better, but soon fell to 8th place.  Deciding that it wasn’t going to get better, Adam moved lower on the track that was by now drying up a little.  He let loose and started running down the leaders, picking his way through the crowd until at lap 17 he moved in to 3rd place.  By lap 19 he was challenging the 2nd place 7 car underneath and at turn 4 on lap 20 made a move for the finish line.  He came up a little short and stayed in 3rd place by a nose.

Belgrade, MT (July 13, 2007) With a new engine and a new start on the season, Burrows Racing arrived in Belgrade for the Mid Season Championships.  After drawing 199 out of 200 Adam started in 6th in the first heat.  The track was slippery but not real muddy and he got off to a good start.  Adam went to work on the field ahead of him.  There were few cautions and by the end of 8 laps he was in 3rd place.  This is what he had hoped for so he could qualify for the feature race.

In the feature, Adam started 11th, in the 6th row on the inside.  By the first caution at the second lap he had moved in to 9th.  Then at the restart he charged high and passed four cars through turns one and two and during the next two laps moved in to 3rd place behind the 21 car.  After fighting for second place for many laps, he pushed high in turn 3 and gave the 1X car of Dan Steber a chance to get a nose under him.  By turn 1 Adam had moved back to 4th and even though he made an effort in lap 19 to pass the 1X he couldn't do it and ended the race in 4th place.

Great Falls, MT (July 3, 2007) After spending a lot of time in the shop with lots of wrenching, Adam finally got the new engine installed in the car then headed for Great Falls. He drew a good number and started on the pole in heat number 2 and worked the track and the car very well, ending up winning the heat. When he got back to the pit he complained of having no power in the engine and we noticed several things that didn't look good. After letting the engine cool we inspected closely and determined that we needed to run the feature race in order to get a better handle on fine-tuning the motor. Adam lined up in the fifth spot at the start and you could tell from the beginning that he didn't have a strong engine. He pitted after two laps with another blown engine.

Great Falls, MT (July 4, 2007) A friend in Great Falls offered Adam his car if he wanted to race it on Wednesday. He jumped at the chance and we picked it up and took it to the track. Adam and his dad, with the help of DJ Amundson worked on the car for a couple of hours getting it set up for the night. The track temperature was 103 and there was a lot of water being consumed while working on the car. By the time the first heat race started Adam was ready. He started in fourth place and ended up in second place after 8 laps. In the pit he identified some further modifications he wanted to make and we set the car up for the feature race.

Adam started in 4th place in the main event and quickly started picking through the field. The track was dry slick and the car was a little pushy, but with great driving effort Adam moved to first place and was able to keep off a challenge by the number 8 car to take the win. We owe a great big thanks to Jeff Sekuterski for loaning us his car and to DJ for helping with the wrenching.

Billings, MT (July 7, 2007) After skipping the race in Belgrade because of the blown engine, Adam got a call from a friend in Billings asking if he'd drive a car that he had. Adam packed up the trailer and took off for the track. He picked up the car and did some setup work to it. He started the heat in 4th place and was leading for several laps when he was finally passed by the 21 car. With only a couple of laps left Adam was hit by the 3rd place car which sent him in to a spin and he ended finishing last. The rest of the race was rained out. Because not all of the races were run, the night does not count as an official race unless they get a chance to run those features at a later date.

Billings, MT (June 30, 2007) Adam put the car together and headed for Billings while his dad was driving to Bismarck to get his new engine.

At the track Adam started 4th in his heat and put together 8 good laps to take first place in that race. He had a good setup and raced well.

In the feature Adam started 3rd and raced hard. After moving into second for several laps, he was finally passed by the 21 car that eventually went on to win. Adam kept his 3rd place in that race for another top 5 finish. His engine was tired and he did a great job of making up for it with good driving.

Belgrade, MT (June 29, 2007) The sprint cars were in town so we new we could expect a fast track for most of the night. Adam drew another high number and started 3rd in the first heat race, he was holding his own until he spun out and ended up finishing in 6th place. We've had some trouble in our heat setups lately that have been causing a loose car, but we think we have the problem fixed.

In the feature race, Adam started 18th and worked his way back to 7th when he ran out of laps. He had a little trouble with lap traffic but was able to keep up with the leaders.

Billings, MT (June 23, 2007) The track was sloppy for the second heat race and Adam started in 4th place. The top was holding somewhat so that's where he started to run and took off fast. As the track started to turn tacky he was able to go one lane low to pass without losing his momentum. Using great driving skill and running a smooth line he finished 2nd behind Kasey Brown in the 21 car.

In the feature race Adam started 4th and took off on a fast track. Driving smooth and hard he had just moved in to third when the flagman turned on the caution light. Adam lifted off the gas and the light when out! He was passed by two cars that didn't see the caution come on and with only 2 laps left didn't have time to get back to the leaders. He ended the race in 6th place.

All in all with a tired engine and a tough field Adam did a great job to stay in the points race.

Belgrade, MT (June 22, 2007) With an aging borrowed engine Adam made it back on the track for the weekend. He started on the pole in the first heat race and try as he might could not hold the lead after being chased down by a fast number 9 car. The 18b ran well and the track was fast but the team was a little short on horsepower to take over the lead and ended in second place.

In the feature race Adam started in second place and took off fast and was moving into first at turn four when he spun out unexpectedly. After a double line restart he took off again and raced hard in a rough race with lots of cautions and many bent cars. At one point he had fallen to 12th place but battled back to 7th when the laps finally ran out.

Billings, MT(June 16, 2007) The team traveled to Billings on Saturday for the second night of racing for the week. After packing the track for several laps the team pulled in to set up for the heat. Unfortunately the spare engine they used the night before in Belgrade bent a rod while starting it for the heat. They were forced to pack up for the night and head home. This week will be spent tri eng to find and install a spare for the spare engine. Kasey Brown scored his 3rd clean sweep in a row at BMP.

Belgrade, MT(June 15, 2007) Adam started on the pole in the first heat on Friday at Belgrade's Gallatin Speedway. He easly won by a half lap. In the nights feature event he started on the outside pole postion. After a brief battle with the 66 of Ron Imberi Adam won his 2nd feature win and first clean sweep of 2007. Kasey Brown of Billings tried to get under Burrows all night but settled for 2nd.

Belgrade, MT (June 8, 2007) Adam started 3rd in the heat but because of the wet track condition there wasn’t much chance to do a lot of racing.  He finished 3rd.

In the feature Adam started on the pole.  The track was tacky and he was able to flat foot it around the top and maintain the lead for about 12 laps.  At that time the 00 car was able to sneak under Adam on the low side and take the lead.  But as Adam came out of turn 4 and headed down the straight in front of the crowd his engine suffered a catastrophic failure and blew.  He rolled to a stop and the bottom of the track trailing a faint blue smoke trail.  Later inspection showed that a rod bolt had failed on the #2 cylinder and the resulting debris broke three more rods.

On Saturday Adam removed the damaged engine and packed it for shipment to the engine builder.  He is in the process of installing the spare engine in order to be on the track this Friday.

Great Falls, MT (June 2, 2007)  After working on the engine early in the morning, Adam and the crew came up with a good fix and had the engine running in top form.  Because BMP was rained out, the team instead went to Great Falls to race.  In the heat, Adam started fourth and got caught in some traffic on a muddy track.  He fell to sixth but worked his way back to third by the end.

In the feature race Adam lined up in 5th position and had the car dialed in for a slick track.  At the start he got caught in some traffic again, but by the first caution at lap 7 he had made it up to second place behind the 67 car.  At the restart the 67 took off early and Adam chased him for 13 laps.  In two instances he closed the gap and tried to challenge down low, but in each case the attempt failed.  The cars ran a very good race but Adam came up just a little short finishing in 2nd place.

Belgrade, MT (June 1, 2007) The track was still fairly muddy when the heat race arrived for Adam. He started in 6th position but surged to the front in the first turn. At the end of the first lap he had 6 lengths on the field when his engine quit in turn 2. He coasted into the pit and didn’t finish the heat.

The crew worked on the distributor and got the car running again good and strong. He started the heat at the back of the pack and went 3 laps before the engine quit again. The crew tried to get it running and succeeded, but not before the caution had ended and he was out of the race.

Great Falls, MT (May 26, 2007) With the track in Billings rained out, our only option to stay in the points race was to head for Great Falls. The track was fast for the heat and Adam started fast and moved quickly into first place and stayed there until the last lap coming out of turn four. At that point the 67 car tried to go around Adam on the high side and spun out, hitting Adam and sending him to the tires. He broke a brake line in that spin and ended last.

In the main Adam started all the way back in 13th place and was able to work his way back to 7th. He had real engine problems stemming from some work we had done the day before and just didn’t have the horsepower to do anything. The good news is that there was very little damage done to the car so he’ll have an easier time getting ready for this Friday’s opener in Belgrade.

Billings, MT (May 19, 2007) After getting up early and resetting the car, the Burrows team traveled 230 miles through central Montana farm country to get to Billings to pick up the point race there. In the heat, Adam lined up in sixth position and started working through the pack. His car was hooked up well and with some tight driving he was able to work in to 2nd place when he was black flagged and put out of the race. We're not sure why he got the flag but apparently the flagman observed some sort of contact he thought was illegal.

In the feature race Adam had to start at the back of the pack in 16th place because of the infraction in the heat. He had the car set up well and at the green flag he immediatley started picking through the pack to work his way to the front. He ran the high side for many of the laps but went low to pass when necessary. At the end of the race he had come back to finish in 3rd place. There were no cautions at all in the feature race.
Despite the dissappointment of Saturday night Adam now leads the State points race in 1st place.

Great Falls, MT (May 18, 2007) With nearly 30 sprint cars in town, the race team expected a busy night and got it. The track was in good shape for the heat and Adam started in 4th position. After getting stuck in traffic for a while he hooked up and finished in 2nd place.

The feature race had Adam starting in 4th position on a slick track, but he was set up for it and took off to take the lead in the first lap. He was running hard and setting the corners well except for turn one where he was pushing a little. He was turning some very fast laps but had to back off a little to avoid spinning out. On lap fifteen he was still leading when the car pushed up on turn one into the cushion and the 67 car was able to sneak past him on the bottom. Adam quickly recovered and started to chase down the leader when the race ended with Adam taking another 2nd.

Billings, MT (May 12, 2007) The weather was perfect for opening day at BMP but the track was sloppy for the heat races. Adam didn’t have the luck of the draw and started 5th. On lap five he was able to make a move to second place, but lost it down low in the slop and pushed down to the infield fringe. He kept charging and made it back on to the track in 4th place and stayed there to the finish.

In the feature Adam started 9th. He didn’t make the invert but since this was the first night they were started straight up with the leaders in front. The track had dried out somewhat and from the first flag you could tell his car was hooking up great and he had lots of engine. He moved quickly up to 5th place, then picked his way toward the front, finally passing the 6x car on the high side to move into 2nd place behind last year’s track champion, the 21 car of Kasey Brown. Those two cars battled hard for several laps but despite a last shot charge by Adam, the 21 car was first to the checkered flag by 1 ½ lengths.

Those two cars were the only street stocks to record sub-20 second laps during the race, and they each had three of those. It was a great race between two great drivers and cars.

Great Falls, MT (May 5, 2007) The weather was good and the track was in good condition but Adam drew a high number and started 7th in the heat. He couldn’t get much done in 8 laps and ended finishing 5th. In the feature he started 4th and soon he and the 67 car were far out in front. The lead changed a couple of times and 67 was leading by a length in the 18th lap when his engine overheated and he drove off to the pits. Adam finished in first place well ahead of the rest of the pack to get his first win of the season.

Great Falls, MT (April 27, 2007) The track was exceptionally sloppy for all heats on Friday night, so much so that you could hardly call it 'racing'. The weather was mild with only a slight breeze. Burrows Racing drew the outside pole position with the 67 car of Casey Steffenson on the pole position. He took off fast and quickly put distance between himself and the rest of the field. Adam also got distance from the rest of the pack but soon lost ground and was passed. In two more laps he gained back his second place spot and stayed there to the end of the heat.

In the feature race the lineup was virtually the same with 67 on the pole and Adam outside. The track was extremely tacky by this time and from the start the 18B car was pushing bad through most of the turns. Steffenson took off to take another big lead, but spun out in turn one on lap 4 and Adam took over the lead. At the restart, Steffenson quickly regained the lead and Adam fell to third position. At about lap 12 Adam pushed up real bad in turn four into the number 2 car, then was hit from the side by the number 20 car. This put him out of the race and he had to take a DNF.

Great Falls, MT (April 28, 2007) The weather was overcast and cloudy and the track was fast for the second leg of a weekend opening double header at Electric City Speedway. It was a late night with all classes running and several heats of pure stocks and late models.

The Burrows Racing crew started at 9:30 am working on the damage to the car from the night before. An assessment showed body panel damage to the whole left side, left upper quarter panel and roof, right side front fender and the nose. Further inspection showed a trashed bumper ripped from the car, a new PRC radiator with two small holes and a bent left rear wheel. They quickly removed the panels and started straightening them while Adam called some friends to arrange delivery of another radiator offered to him the night before. He then removed the radiator and with the donation of a welder from Dave Freeman, hacked together a bumper. The frame and front end were untouched so with some minor straightening of the Kurshinsky tubing the body started going back on. The nose was stitched together with wire ties and at 3:30pm they loaded the car and headed for the car wash and the track.

Once at the track Adam went to start the car to test the radiator and the engine wouldn't start. Everything was checked from top to bottom and it was finally discovered that the distributor module was bad. Fortunately, DJ Amundson had made the trip up to the track with the 8 car and had a spare. After installing it, the engine rolled over and roared to life. That was an intense hour. The crew then quickly changed the tire off the damaged wheel and changed the geometry of the car just as Adam had to hit the track to pack. It had been 9 1/2 hours of intense repair just to get back on the track.

In the heat race Adam drew the outside pole and Steffenson drew the pole for the third straight time. The race ended with Adam in second place but the car was responding much better. For the feature Adam drew the pole with Steffenson in the third position. The car ran very well and Adam lead for 10 laps before the 67 car was able to sneak past him on the high side. Adam finished second with Casey Browns 21 car out of Billings finishing third. This was the first of several races that will take place this year between the 1st, 2nd and 4th place cars from last year's State standing.

Great Falls, MT (April 21, 2007) It was a big day in Great Falls for the Burrows Racing team, starting with an appearance at a car show at Pete’s Auto on 10th Avenue.  The weather was great and there was a pretty good crowd taking pictures and enjoying the cars.  There was lots of interest in the 18b car, but all the cars looked good and contributed to a great show.

At 5 pm the team arrived at the Electric City Speedway for testing.  As expected on the first day, the pit area was extremely soft and the track was rough through turns 1 and 2, but the weather was warm and everything was dry.  The car ran very well and they were able to try several different set-ups in preparation for opening night next Friday.  They ran a total of over 50 laps in 7 different heats and Adam ended up with seat belt bruises and a sore left arm.  Nothing broke or was damaged and the new engine ran cool and strong.  The team packed up at 9:30 pm and made it back home by 2 am.
